Our Maasai tribe has always been a prudent manager of natural resources. We have protected and nurtured the wildlife of the Maasai Mara national park and preserved our culture. Until now, our tribe has been a spectator of tourism and it’s visitors to our native land. Here at the The Naserian Mara Camp we offer our own classic version of safari, one of conservation, natural habitat, history, great beauty and relaxation.

Our tented camp is so much more than other luxury African safari resorts. Thirty minutes by air from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, we are located in the Northern Maasai Mara game reserve, spanning over 19,000 hectares, owned and preserved independently by ourselves, the Maasai tribe.
Here you will experience a connection with culture and nature like never before. Our luxurious safari camp comprises of ten classically styled tented suites, furnished and finished with authentic detail of African authenticity, including wood burning fires, large sunken baths, beautiful art and exquisite lounge balconies.
The standard throughout our resort is maintained to the highest level and includes sumptuous amenities and services for our guests to enjoy.

Historically, we are the tribe of Nilo-Hamitic origin, the Maasai. Today we proudly hold our reputation as one of the most warlike, rapacious and disciplined tribe’s in East Africa. We remain rooted in our iconic culture and our heritage. And, we are proud to have created our new classic safari experience that we can share with you.

We are a 100% carbon neutral luxury safari resort. Our decisions are made with our ecosystem at the forefront of our minds. We have designed and built our camp to run efficiently, with zero emissions, completely off the grid.
The food you will eat is picked daily from our organic gardens. Power and heating is generated by solar panels, clean fresh water comes from our natural spring and your wellbeing is protected with our onsite health clinic. By working together and respecting the land, it is our aim to be able to share our authentic Mara experiences with guests for years to come.
